Covid-19 Reflections, Prayers & Poems

Published on September 29, 2020

During the COVID-19 lockdown Fr Arnie of Shannon Parish put out an invitation for submissions in poetry, prose,
short story, and prayers on peoples’ experience of journeying through the pandemic, and those
who were diagnosed with COVID-19.  He has just edited a book in response to the submissions
received entitled‘Covid-19: Reflections, Prayers, Poems’  which is now available to purchase on
Kindle and as an ebook and print version. The print version is €15 including postage.
A great feature of the book is that it records the inner thoughts and feelings of those at this time in our history,
who write about the  Pandemic from a personal perspective, and the impact it has had on them.
From the young to the wise they share their story. All proceeds from the book go to Shannon Clarecare Office
which provides tremendous support in our community, and the Cleft & Lip Palate Unit, Our Ladys Hospital for
Sick Children, Dublin, which performs great work in healing children of the condition. The Parish Office in
Shannon is also delighted to order the book for you by leaving your name and contact details to [email protected] or calling 061-363243.
